Harry Potter is so Pinteresting

Harry Potter.  Really, I mean, not to corny or whatever, but...those books changed my life.  I have always enjoyed reading.  Since I was little.  I mean, even with the books on record (yup, I said record), my mom said I would just memorize the record, then sit and read the books to myself.  But Harry Potter was the first series that really caught me.

And then the movies.  I absolutely loved watching the books come to life through the mind of the director.  Watching the characters grow up.  Watching the spells do their jobs.  Watching the creatures come to life (did you actually think a hippogriff looked like that?).  The last movie comes out on Friday.  I'm going to see it in IMAX 3D with Matt, my mom, and my step-dad Friday afternoon.  We have always gone to see the movies in the theater, but usually waited a few weeks for the crowds to die down.  This year, we all already have Friday off (we're all going to see U2 Thursday night), so we decided to do it up right for the final movie, and go on opening day.  I get giddy just thinking about it.  I drop everything when I see a preview for it.  I. cannot. wait.

With that in mind...

...my Oh, How Pinteresting Wednesday is all about - what else - Harry Potter.  The end of an era.

Learning from Harry...

A few things I wouldn't mind owning...

A sweet tattoo.  I don't really like tattoos (for me!) but would actually consider this one...

We Harry fans have been through a lot together...

Keep Calm...

This.  This is why I love Harry more than Twilight.  I could never quite put my finger on it, but now I know...

Hermione is stronger, smarter, and - let's face it - prettier than Bella.

And finally....

Thank you, indeed.  JK Rowling, I am forever in your debt.
