Pro. Not just because I think it's really actually the right thing, but also because none of the arguments against it make any sense to me.
"The purpose of marriage is procreation." Uh, so what about all those couples who don't want kids? Or the ones who can't have kids? They're still allowed to get married. What's the difference?
"Marriage is meant to be between a man and a woman." What about someone who's had a sex change? Or hermaphrodites? What is a "man" or a "woman?"
"Gay marriage will destroy the sanctity of marriage." Oh, you mean more than Britney Spears, who gets married for 54 hours to a childhood friend in Las Vegas? Or Elizabeth Taylor, who's been married, like 17 times? IMHO, that's a blatant mockery of the institution of marriage.
"It's unnatural/dirty." Whatever. You and your wife/husband get up to some nasty shit in your own bedrooms, admit it.
So, yeah. Marry on, my LGBT friends. I hope you love it as much as I do.
